“Cthulhu? Did I just hear that right?” Cthulhu? There was no way I heard that right. I mean, some things I was willing to accept. I’d killed vampires, battled dragons and bargained with the fae. I had friends who had come face to face with both elves and dwarves. Those were beings that humanity had known about for so long that their existence had passed into myth and legend. Cthulhu was a monster that Lovecraft guy had cooked up last century. If the thing had actually existed we’d have known about it long before then, right?
